We turned our favorite play moments into something you can use at home!

Introducing The Play Society: Home Edition! A play-based subscription that actually understands toddlers & how they learn!

What is the Home Edition?

The Play Society: Home Edition is a monthly subscription that brings sensory play, child-led exploration, and language-rich connection into your home.

Created by two licensed speech-language pathologists, each edition follows the same approach we use in our in-person caregiver & child classes with weekly themed, sensory-rich activities, early language strategies, and meaningful moments built right in.

Whether you're building language with your little one, looking for a fun way to create more connection, or just looking for purposeful play at home, the Home Edition helps you do it, with less overwhelm and more intention.

See What’s Inside:

  • 4–5 weeks of sensory-rich, open-ended activities.

  • 2 sensory bin ideas per week, based on the theme. Material lists (from Amazon and/or items from home) & inspiration ideas on how to use and play!

  • 3–4 theme based play activities per week, supporting development in language, fine & gross motor, and cognitive skills. Explore process art, constructive & open-ended play, & exploratory & movement-based play.

  • Designed by SLPs, these strategies are simple to use and powerful in supporting your child’s communication. Find inspiration embedded in the weekly activities.

  • Tips to help you connect play with daily moments, to help you extend each week’s theme into everyday life. Making learning feel natural, consistent, and part of your child’s world beyond the weekly activities.

  • Real photos of every bin & activity for easy inspiration!

  • Custom monthly playlists with songs that bring the theme to life, supporting vocabulary and the month’s focus. Listen to these songs during the activities, when prepping or cleaning up, or in the car!

  • Shop with ease. We've already gathered links to the tools and toys we actually use and love. Not all materials are needed, but there are suggested materials and toys that support theme-based learning.

  • Join our private WhatsApp group to connect with other families using the Home Edition. Ask questions, share wins, and get inspired!

  • Each edition includes both English and Spanish versions, sold separately.

From Us to You

We started The Play Society because we believe in the power of play-based learning. The messy, meaningful, connection-filled play! And we wanted families to feel supported while doing it.

The Home Edition is our way of sharing what we do in our classes with families everywhere. It’s designed with intention, backed by what we know as SLPs, and built around what we’ve learned from the incredible families we’ve worked with.

Whether you’re joining us from down the street or across the country, you’re part of this community now. And we’re so glad you’re here.

FAQs

What ages is the Home Edition for?

Home Edition is designed for children 6 months old to kindergarten-aged. Every activity is open-ended, adaptable to meet your child where they are, and use as your child grows.

Can I use this with more than 1 child in my household?

Absolutely, we don’t expect you to buy multiple copies for each of your children. The Home Edition is great for siblings. The activities are adaptable and designed with a wide developmental range in mind, from babies who explore with their mouths to preschoolers full of ideas.

For group settings such as classrooms, daycare centers, homeschool co-ops, or community programs, we require written permission or a group license. If you’re interested in this type of use, please contact us as hello@playsocietyco.com for licensing options.

Who can use the Home Edition?

This includes, but not limited to, parents & grandparents, educators & therapists, nannies & caregivers!

Can I choose which month I start with?

Yes! When you subscribe, you’ll be able to select from the current month and the following month.

Do I need to print anything?

Most of the content, like photos, activity guides, and caregiver tips, is designed to be viewed digitally. We do include a few printable resources (like visuals and week-at-a-glance agendas) you can print if you’d like, but it’s totally optional. a

Do I need to buy additional materials?

Yes. Each month comes with a thoughtfully curated materials list, available through our Amazon storefront (excluding food items).

But don’t worry, you won’t need to buy everything. We also suggest alternative materials that are common household items or things you may already have on hand. We also prioritize open-ended tools that can be reused across multiple activities and months.

Within each weekly guide, we intentionally use the same materials in different ways, supporting repetition, exposure, and deeper learning without constantly introducing new items. Our goal is to make play accessible, meaningful, and manageable for real life.
